VIDEO: Lady Gaga “Vanity Fair” Inspired Nail Tutorial

Hello Beauty Goddesses!

Several weeks ago I saw Lady Gaga on the cover of Vanity Fair and I instantly fell in love with her nail color. After a little research I found out Deborah Lippmann was the genius behind this nail color. The lacquer is called “Waking Up In Vegas”. I had to bring it into the salon. It’s NOW available and we’re doing a special manicure and “Waking Up In Vegas” lacquer treatment this month.

I also thought this would be a good time to do a video on pampering yourself with a DIY manicure featuring the Lady Gaga lacquer. If you’re not a do-it-your-selfer then book an appointment in the Salon and have Yuli create the look for you!

Hi Beauty Goddesses!!

Here is my second video tutorial – today we talk STYLE. Fall is one of my favourite times of the year. Aside from the beautiful orange and golden colors nature has to offer, designers are releasing their latest lineup for the season. I’ve been so excited about what I’m seeing on the runway this season I thought I’d put together a mini fashion show to share what I’m loving right now.

Smokey Eye Makeup Video Tutorial – Summer Night Out

Hello Beauty Goddesses!!! Here’s the first of many video tutorials that I’ll be posting on my blog and Youtube page. I was a little nervous at first, but once I got rolling with the tutorial everything went pretty smoothly.

I wanted to do a smokey eye look for the summer since I get so many questions about this look. I’ve found that mastering one smokey eye look that you like is a great start to getting more adventurous. Give this one a try and tell me how it goes!!!

Hello Beauty Goddesses!!

My name is Angela, most people just call me Ange. I own a beauty salon in downtown Vancouver called, The Salon Beauty Bar. I’ve also been a professional M.A.C make up artist for over 6 years – wow how time flies!!

Everyday I get a TON of makeup, nail, hair, and skin care questions. So I thought I’d open up this blog to pass on some of the things I’ve learned. I’m a beauty and fashion junkie at heart so it’s only natural that I dedicate this blog to all the other beauty junkies out there like me!!

Ultimately, my hope is to inspire creativity while helping you get answers to those burning beauty questions you’ve been looking for. I’ll be posting video tutorials, blogs, and photos, on all things beauty and fashion so subscribe and check back often.
