“It will take your eyes on a mind-blowing road trip†is how I would describe the new musical film starring the always fabulous Cher and the queen of pin-up fashion, Christina Aguilera, opening in theatres this month. In the film Christina plays Ali, a girl with big dreams of making it in L.A who finds herself fascinated by the glitz and glamour of the burlesque stage. Will she rise to the top in this colourful, tantalizing faux reality or will she become just another floater who loses herself in her ambitions? No matter what the ending turns out to be, by the looks of the trailer, I already know I’m going to enjoy the heart-stopping dance numbers, the naughty costumes and that electrifying signature voice of Christina Aguilera.
