This is one of my favorite trends for this Spring/Summer: that healthy, back-to-basics look that works to accentuate your lovely natural features. So your cheekbones aren’t cut like diamonds? With the right makeup tools and techniques, that can all change. Seriously! Don’t believe us? Check out Kim Kardashian’s contouring tutorial. Pump up your natural features, create definition and work what you’ve got. Bold, Brave Brows
The stylists at Marc Jacobs were all about big, beautiful eyebrows at this season’s show. Chic, head-turning, provocative brows are a serious statement this spring, and THE Salon Beauty Bar wants to empower you to try it out—don’t be shy! Over-the-top brows are a daring undertaking but can be well worth it: just dust some light reflecting powder to soften around the edges and voilà ! Bold brows are New York’s new feminine and a fresh, exciting look for spring we can’t wait to explore.
Spicy LipsÂ
Red lips are always a huge hit with the models at fashion week, and each year the look evolves with a contemporary twist. From crimson to cranberry, whatever your hue, the ruby pout will always be a classy, sexy go-to. I don’t think that it’s possible to create the perfect Red Lip without the holy trinity: lip-liner, lipstick and gloss. Put together, it’s a fierce, eye-popping look that will never go out of style.
